Community Guidelines
Meetex exists to help people in Dubai connect and meet in real life. These guidelines describe what's expected. Breaking them can result in content removal, warnings, suspension, or permanent bans.
Our Five Principles
1. Be Respectful
Not allowed: harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, slurs, persistent unwanted contact, mockery of people, cultures, beliefs.
2. Be Authentic
Not allowed: impersonation, fake profiles, alt accounts, photos of others, lying about identity, AI-generated profile photos, account sharing/resale.
3. Be Safe
Not allowed: inviting users to unsafe locations on first meetup, pressuring for personal information, sharing others' private info without consent, doxxing, stalking, threats, recording without consent.
4. Be Appropriate
Not allowed: nudity, sexual content, sexual solicitation, escort/sex work, content involving minors (immediate permanent ban), non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual descriptions/requests.
5. Be Legal
Not allowed: UAE Cybercrime Law violations, drug coordination, criminal planning, insulting the UAE/rulers/religion/symbols, unauthorised gatherings, fraud, romance scams, piracy, hate speech.
Specific to Join Me
Hosts: Realistic vibe tags. Don't broadcast from sensitive locations. Don't accept waves you have reason to suspect.
Guests: Respectful intro messages. Don't spam waves. Accept “no” gracefully. Don't contact a host outside Meetex without consent.
Specific to Activities
Genuinely intend to host/attend. Accurate descriptions. No commercial promotion (use proper partnerships). Don't charge participants. Don't no-show repeatedly.
Specific to Chat
Good faith engagement. Don't pressure for personal contact info early. Don't share chat content publicly without consent. No spam.
Specific to Ratings
Honest ratings. No retaliation. No coordinated false reports. False reports are themselves violations.
Enforcement

Bans are device, phone, and identity-bound.
Reporting
In-app: tap menu → Report → choose reason → submit. Review within 24 hours.
Urgent: UAE 999. Child safety: privacy@meetex.app + in-app.
Appeals
Email support@meetex.app with subject “Appeal: [phone]”. Response within 7 days. Decisions are final.
